WHAT WE COLLECT, HOW IT IS USED AND HOW IT IS SHARED

Internet traffic:
Data from internet traffic is important to analyze user traffic to our website. This allows us to personalize and adapt various interfaces on our web site for a more enjoyable experience for the user. Examples of data collected: which browser you used, your IP address and your internet service provider. There is no personal identifier data collected at this level.

We use cookies on our sites. They are bits of data stored on a user’s hard drive. Cookies provide a way for the website to recognize the user  and keep track of a user's preferences.

As you can surmise, we sometimes need testimonials from our clients to establish social proof. When we need such things as testimonials for example, we will ask you specifically for that and for your consent to publish it on our web site.

The third parties we use for this are: Red Cart and Paypal for the on line store and Mad Mimi, for forms and emails. These sites use SSL protocols, are secured and behind a firewall.

 

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by them. In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.

Once you leave our websites or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy ( Statement)  or our website’s Terms of Service.

Your Eye on Photo takes reasonable precautions and follows industry best practices to protect your personal information. When you submit information via our web sites, your information is protected both on and off line. Off line, in the office, the physical area where your information is processed is a secure environment. And online, when you submit sensitive information to us, it is encrypted and delivered to us over a secured sever.
