You might have seen this in the Caledon Living magazine. In the spirit of community, 4 photographers went out and shot Caledon in the winter time. The 4 photographers were Simon Burn, Lisa A. Scale, Chris Fertnig and myself Desiree A. Neville. We wanted to show everyone that there are pictures everywhere in Caledon and how beautiful our area is. All you have to do is drive around or look in your own backyard. Everyone saw Caledon in a different light.
The second step of this challenge, was to have some of our work exhibited at Bell's art gallery on Airport Road. The show runs from the 8th to the 17th of March, 2007. Gala opening night is on the 8th from 7 to 9 pm.

"Capturing Caledon Photo exhibit at local studio"
An exhibit by four local photographers entitled "Capturing Caledon" is now on display. The winter images on display, at Bell's Framing & Fine Art in Caledon East, are part of a year long project by Simon Burn, Chris Fertnig, Desiree Neville and Lisa Scale to capture each season in Caledon, and possibly publish a fine art book at hte end of it.
"It is our hope to show the images at various locations around Caledon throughout the year." enthused Bolton photographer Lisa Scale.
This is the first photographic-only project as far as we know in this area, and we should be able to create enough images of Caledon over the course of a year that really do sum up the superb and diverse natural features of the area and present them in the best light possible," added Burn.
The images on display at Bell's are of winter scenes, shot over the past couple of months. Limited edition numbered and signed giclee prints are available for purchase.
