After studying photography at the Western Pacific Academy of Photography in Victoria, in 1988, Desiree became a freelance photographer, traveling the world capturing images with her own unique eye. As part of a group of photographers sponsored by Kodak, she sailed the Nile in a felucca on a shoot for a book on Egypt. Many of her thousands of pictures from London, Paris, Delhi, Tokyo and Hong Kong , to name a few, have graced the pages of calendars over the years. Travel & Nature Photo Gallery Now living in Caledon, Desiree opened her portrait studio, Your Eye on Photo, in 2005 where she specializes in weddings, family portraits and theme photography for children. Her fairy portraits and "What I Do best" stills put to music are beautiful memories, captured forever. These past 2 years, Desiree photographed the Cabin Fever Calendar. This is a calendar made by Flight Attendants for the Princess Margaret Hospital's Cancer research and treatment foundation.
